Women Deliver 2026 - Stories for Change
Hello lovely community,
In just a few days, I’ll be at Women Deliver 2026 in Narrm (Melbourne) — a global gathering bringing together advocates, policymakers, researchers, funders, youth leaders, and movement builders to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and shape collective action for gender equality. (Women Deliver)
I will be participating as an accredited press representative.
This year’s conference is guided by a powerful invitation: Change calls us here.
Across the program, Women Deliver is centering four pathways:
- Disrupt the Now
- Build the Vision
- Align for Action
- Sustain the Movement.
The conference also places strong emphasis on First Nations leadership, Oceanic Pacific perspectives, adolescent girls’ rights, climate justice, countering anti-rights narratives, and strengthening multilateral action. (Women Deliver)
As an Ambassador for Women Deliver, former Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard is helping lead the charge for the Women Deliver 2026 Conference (WD2026) in Melbourne. What I especially love is this reminder from her:
At Women Deliver, you’ll be able to find a stream on what matters to you, a network around it, and new ideas on it — and also encounter the unexpected.
So I’d love to turn that invitation towards you:
What would you most like me to share with you from the conference?
What are you most curious about right now?
Is it:
– new ideas in gender equality?
– climate justice and feminist leadership?
– First Nations voices and perspectives?
– adolescent girls’ rights and bodily autonomy?
– bold stories and practical solutions that can travel into our own work?
– partnerships, funding trends, and where global conversations are moving next?
Hit reply and tell me what matters most to you.
I’d love to listen for that while I’m there, notice what stands out, and bring back reflections, ideas, and insights shaped with you in mind.
Warmly,
Bettina
